Main Inspectorate of Environmental Protection commits to ensuring the accessibility of its mobile application in accordance with the Act of April 4, 2019, on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities.

The mobile application is partially compliant with the annex to the Digital Accessibility Act of April 4, 2019, regarding the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities, due to the incompatibilities or exclusions listed below.

- Some label components and navigation elements may cause difficulties for users of screen readers.
- Unclear screen reader focus order: On some screens, the screen reader focus is set illogically, which may cause difficulties in understanding and smooth use of the app for screen reader users.
- App interface elements not supported by standard screen reader navigation gestures: Some interface elements do not respond to standard navigation gestures, which may affect the smoothness and intuitiveness of using the app.

Architectural Accessibility
Headquarters address: Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection, Chmielna Street 132/134, 00-805 Warsaw. The building is located in the city center in the Wola district, between Twarda, Miedziana, and Żelazna Streets. The building is near the Central Railway Station. Buses: Starynkiewicza Square 1,350 m / 5 min, with lines no. 127, 128, 158, and 175; Starynkiewicza Square 06,220 m / 3 min, and line no. 157. Trams: Starynkiewicza Square, lines no. 7, 9, 22, 24, 25, 450 m / 6 min; Rondo ONZ Metro Station 750 m / 11 min. Train: Warszawa Ochota 400 m / 5 min and Central Railway Station 900 m / 13 min. The building housing the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection (GIOŚ) meets basic architectural accessibility requirements. Visitors can enter at the corner of Chmielna and Twarda Streets. Five parking spaces are designated for disabled people in front of the building. The building's reception desk is located to the right of the entrance. The GIOŚ offices are located on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. The entrance to the building is at the same level as the sidewalk, without stairs or ramps. The first door is a double door, and the second is a single door. The doors open automatically. Building security can provide assistance with entry. There are no speakers above the entrance for the audio guidance system for blind and visually impaired visitors. A paid parking zone is located next to the building on Chmielna Street. There is also an underground parking garage with designated spaces for people with disabilities. These spaces are located near the elevators. The rooms are accessible to people with mobility impairments, except for the technical rooms. There is no information about the room layout, at least visually, tactilely, or verbally. There are three elevators to the right of the entrance, which can be used by people with mobility issues, wheelchair users, strollers, heavy luggage, etc. The elevators are operated via two panels and can also be accessed after receiving assistance from security or using an access card. A restroom accessible to people with disabilities is located in the main lobby. A guide dog or service dog is allowed in the building and all its rooms. There is no Braille signage in the building (except for the ground floor restrooms). There is also a lack of high-contrast or large-print signage.
Communication and Information Accessibility
To use the services of a sign language interpreter or a guide-interpreter when dealing with matters at the office, you must notify the office at least 3 business days in advance, except in emergency situations.
